Save the Date: IMM at the IAA MOBILITY 2025

“It’s all about mobility” – under this guiding principle, experts who rethink and shape mobility will come together from September 9 to 12 at IAA MOBILITY 2025 in Messe München. We, the Institute for Mobility and Life in Motion at Munich University of Applied Sciences, will be there as well, presenting our research under the theme “zero accidents, zero noise, zero disruptions.”

At the heart of our work lies a fundamental question: How can future mobility be shaped to be sustainable, safe, quiet, and reliable? Mobility must be rethought as a vital component in addressing climate change, enhancing urban quality of life, and creating a safe, people-centered transport system.

At our booth, we will showcase, among other things, a driving simulator with steering and brake test bench, an acoustic demonstrator featuring Active Sound Generation, and provide insights into our accident research based on the German In-Depth Accident Study (GIDAS).

At the same time, we explore current developments by asking: How can we overcome the challenges of electromobility? What role do digital technologies play in shaping sustainable mobility solutions? How can automated mobility become safe, transparent, and trustworthy? And what do terms like Steer-by-Wire, Vision Zero, and Hardware-in-the-Loop actually mean?

Visitors are invited to engage with us, experience how our research works, and rethink mobility together.
